Medical Gazette of the Special Hospital for Thyroid Diseases and Metabolic Disorders Zlatibor has been published for over twenty years. Thanks to the dedication of our editors and the Editorial Board, the journal has continuously evolved, staying current with modern trends and the needs of both readers and authors.

The journal began as a print publication and later transitioned to an open-access electronic format. One of its most notable and distinctive qualities is that, despite being open-access, it does not charge publication fees to authors. This policy ensures that the journal remains truly open and accessible to all contributors, which is especially valuable in today’s economic climate. Additionally, our reviewers are leading experts in their fields, ensuring the high scientific quality of the articles we publish.

The development of the journal will not stop here. Medical Gazette is already indexed in the EBSCO database, and we aim to be included in more databases in the future. However, every journal ultimately exists for its readers and authors.
